Posted by Dornhomes on Sep 24, 2019 7:43:14 AM

Arizona has long been known as a popular destination for homeowners further north to build homes to spend the winters in. Instead of worrying about sub-zero temperatures and getting snowed in, they head south to enjoy mild winters and the occasional white Christmas. Sometimes referred to as “snowbirds,” these visitors help boost the state’s economy and sometimes become permanent or semi-permanent residents. When pressed for information about the rich history of Prescott, Arizona, most residents could probably tell you that the town served as the Capital of the Arizona Territory.
