Thanksgiving Feasts in Prescott, AZ

Posted by Dornhomes on Nov 20, 2019 8:09:41 AM

The holiday season is typically lauded as an opportunity to celebrate friends and family and share a moment with the most important people in our lives. Thanksgiving, especially, is a time for communal celebration. Sometimes though, the hustle and bustle of life can interrupt that. Perhaps you’ve recently moved to a new community here in Prescott and those closest to you are also the furthest away. Or maybe you’d love to host a Thanksgiving dinner but don’t have the time or energy to entertain guests and spend hours in the kitchen basting turkey, mashing potatoes, and baking fresh pumpkin pies. Fortunately, if you’d like to enjoy classic holiday fare without the prep work or clean up, you have a number of options here in Prescott. Whether you’re looking for plated holiday dinners, a buffet with a twist on the classics, or a fully prepared Thanksgiving dinner to serve in your new kitchen, we can help you find it.

Hassayampa Inn (10:30 am – 4:-00 pm)

Hassayampa Inn is always an area favorite and this Thanksgiving will be no exception. They’ve pulled out all the stops for this buffet and will be offering a Thanksgiving dinner unlike anything you had at grandma’s house. In addition to brunch mainstays like an omelette station, fresh fruit, and a charcuterie board with assorted meats and cheeses, you’ll also find a carving station with herb-roasted turkey, smoked prime rib, salmon, and chicken marsala. They’ll also be offering an assortment of appetizers and salads, and classic sides with a twist, like grilled cranberry stuffing and smoked bacon macaroni and cheese. After dinner you’ll enjoy pumpkin pie and assorted cookies, or if pumpkin spice isn’t your thing, grab a glass of complimentary champagne and make your way over to the chocolate fountain. Reservations are required so please visit their website for more information.

Redwoods Grill at The Prescott Golf Club (11:00 am – 2:00 pm)

This year Redwoods Grill at The Prescott Golf Club is inviting you to celebrate Thanksgiving and let them do the cooking. They’ll be serving up a classic Thanksgiving buffet with turkey, ham, stuffing, and your favorite sides, and they’ll top it off with pumpkin pie for dessert. If you’d like to enjoy a plate of traditional Thanksgiving fare in the comfort of your own home, Redwoods Grill will be offering Thanksgiving TO-GO. Reservations and Thanksgiving TO-GO orders need to be made in advanced, so make sure call ahead. More information is available at their website.

Augie’s (12:00 pm – 7:00 pm)

If you’re looking for a Thanksgiving dinner in a casual atmosphere, or want to enjoy a meal before going after those Black Friday doorbusters, try Augie’s. Augie’s will be offering a traditional plated Thanksgiving dinner complete with turkey, stuffing, cranberries and potatoes, and your choice of pumpkin or apple pie. This is a great option for those looking to spend the holiday out and about rather than snoozing in front of a football game after one turkey leg too many. Reservations are recommended and more information is available on their website.

Prescott Club at Stone Ridge

If you’re a new homeowner looking to show off your brand new kitchen but aren’t quite ready to really break it in, or if the hassle of cooking just isn’t for you, Prescott Club is offering fully prepared Thanksgiving dinners to go. You’ll have a choice of soups, seasonal sides, and the option of two of four freshly prepared main course items: oven roasted turkey breast with gravy, roasted angus ribeye with cabernet thyme jus, honey-baked ham with rosemary honey glaze, and seared wild salmon in a lemon caper sauce. And since no Thanksgiving would be complete with out it, you’ll also have a choice of pecan, apple, or pumpkin pie. Orders must be placed before Friday, November 22nd at noon and prices for these meals vary by the number of guests so visit their website to learn more.

However you’ll be celebrating this upcoming Thanksgiving, whether it’s spent working in the kitchen or watching the Thanksgiving Day Parade on the couch, we at Dorn Homes hope it’s a happy one.
